How does the Flex Budget work?
The Flex Budget is made available to your employees on a monthly basis and can be used flexibly for the benefits you have approved – such as non-cash vouchers, meal subsidies, or public transport receipts. Employees can decide for themselves how they want to use their budget.
Free choice within approved benefits: Employees can freely choose which of the activated benefits they want to use.
Automatic tax optimization: The system automatically prioritizes the most tax-efficient option – for example, non-cash vouchers are applied first. This also means that if receipts have already been submitted and a voucher is selected afterward, the voucher will be prioritized.
Vouchers are binding: Once a voucher is selected, it is immediately issued in full and cannot be canceled or modified later.
No partial amounts for vouchers: Only full voucher amounts (e.g., €50) can be used – partial redemption is not possible.
Submission of receipts beyond the budget is allowed: Employees can continue to submit receipts even if the budget has already been used up. The system automatically determines which receipt is the most tax-efficient to apply.
Payout limited to the budget cap: Only the monthly budget defined by you will be paid out – even if multiple receipts are submitted.
Employees can view their available and already used budget at any time in the app.
